and everyone is getting older...

i just came back from church, had a busy day today. 2 band pracs and spikenardz but i studied instead with amos and zhi wei in the room haha. it was quiet, unlike Friday haha! sam, amos, merrilyn and i were studying and music filled the room, we were all talking and laughing, going nuts over nuts (haha!). Basically, we weren't REALLY studying. maybe A LITTLE. well i guess sometimes its fun just to relax haha.

tomorrow's outreach Sunday! YAY! haha hopefully people respond to the call of being part of the outreach ministry.

today before 1115am service band prac, mervin shared about his trip to Nias which was just so inspiring. i'm sure it was to the team that heard it. God cares for people throughout, even in that small region up in the mountains where no one knows, God's there. It just so amazing.
"Even in busy Singapore, or in some place far up in the mountains, God is still there." - Mervin
or at least he said something like that. Also he was telling us about the electricity in Nias. The government turns on the power only at 5pm so as to save electricity for the country and all. So you really appreciate the small things as well in countries like this. Oh yes, and the beach he did his quiet time on, there were these high coconut trees. Nias was badly hit by the tsunami as well and they found dead bodies on the tops of the trees. And its scary. Its like it could happen anytime. oh and he told us how the people there are cannibals. SCARY. And he also mentioned how people there need the Lord. Everyone needs the Lord. yeah.

there are so many things happening tmr as well in church.
1. jy worship
2. shhhHhHHHH!
3. youth alpha publicity meeting
4. 1115am service worship
5. outreach Sunday!
6. youth alpha booth i/c

i was planning to have breakfast with the rest. but its okay =). next time then. i haven't spoken to mel in what...2 weeks? haha i bet she has tons to tell me. mmm.

okay. dinner time. salmon tails and clam chowder from fezzler. yummy!

You keep me safe in a crazy world.
