i went for
gala night, it wasn't as good as sec 1.
it was...just not good. period.
the only enjoyable thing was meeting my old outram classmates and friends.
=) yijie, jeremy(but i see him everyday...), siang sheng, royston(he's got a piercing now haha!), the girls of 4/5, some guys from 4/5, the 2/6 bunch haha!, sufian, max, fellow netballers, netball juniors, teachers etc.
it was okay.
i had touch rugby training today and my legs and thighs really really hurt. we had to do star jumps for punishment and we had to jump around like frogs doing full leg extentions and squatting back down again. striding was the worst. but still training is good, although it hurts. just pushing on will do you justice. now i can't walk up and down the stairs properly. that's how much they hurt. and i go "ow" everytime i walk down a step. haha yeah.
they hurt SO bad =( haha i should stop whinning.
"or something""or something"and its ALWAYS "or something"and forgettingclassicclassic.

its over baby! its over!...i actually said this when i walked out of the gate today after my lit paper haha -_-
ah yes exams are FINALLY over for me =D haha but still all the best to fellow friends who still have their last papers tomorrow. all the best =)
man, i've never felt this happy after exam period haha, maybe because i worked my ass off for this one? but still it was okay. i was actually quite worried before the exams but they were okay, and bio was the best of all haha.
the last few days have been tough, with chem having not enough time to finish and math with the trig and graphs. bio and lit essay writing hand cramps haha.
but its over!
and now awaiting results... ... i shall not go there.
anyway, i bought 2 cds today. old cds. the hillsong london Jesus Is cd and the hillsong Mighty To Save cd haha bought it at the acts shop today. i've spent lots of money on cds this month. 3 cds. a nice big hole is forming at the bottom of my wallet. yeah.
for the respect of the artist's work! and great music haha.
late night tonight =D yay.
looking forward to
GALA NIGHT@Outram tmr evening.
hopefully it'll be a blast =D!

and everyone is getting older...i just came back from church, had a busy day today. 2 band pracs and spikenardz but i studied instead with amos and zhi wei in the room haha. it was quiet, unlike Friday haha! sam, amos, merrilyn and i were studying and music filled the room, we were all talking and laughing, going nuts over nuts (haha!). Basically, we weren't REALLY studying. maybe A LITTLE. well i guess sometimes its fun just to relax haha.
tomorrow's outreach Sunday! YAY! haha hopefully people respond to the call of being part of the outreach ministry.
today before 1115am service band prac, mervin shared about his trip to Nias which was just so inspiring. i'm sure it was to the team that heard it. God cares for people throughout, even in that small region up in the mountains where no one knows, God's there. It just so amazing.
"Even in busy Singapore, or in some place far up in the mountains, God is still there." - Mervin
or at least he said something like that. Also he was telling us about the electricity in Nias. The government turns on the power only at 5pm so as to save electricity for the country and all. So you really appreciate the small things as well in countries like this. Oh yes, and the beach he did his quiet time on, there were these high coconut trees. Nias was badly hit by the tsunami as well and they found dead bodies on the tops of the trees. And its scary. Its like it could happen anytime. oh and he told us how the people there are cannibals. SCARY. And he also mentioned how people there need the Lord. Everyone needs the Lord. yeah.
there are so many things happening tmr as well in church.
1. jy worship
2. shhhHhHHHH!
3. youth alpha publicity meeting
4. 1115am service worship
5. outreach Sunday!
6. youth alpha booth i/c
i was planning to have breakfast with the rest. but its okay =). next time then. i haven't spoken to mel in what...2 weeks? haha i bet she has tons to tell me. mmm.

I came back from Rawa island just 2 days ago. It was amazing i must say. the relaxing breeze. the clear sea. the soft sand. perfect haha.
yesterday i got my wisdom tooth removed. it hurt so bad yesterday and hour after the surgery. yeah. but i'm okay. its getting better haha. can't really eat properly though but in due time it should be okay.
i'm going to study today, because i wasted like the whole day yesterday because of my sore mouth. i've got like 3 different things to take now. painkillers, some stuff for the swelling to go down and antibiotics. sigh.
as you can see i'm not exactly in the mood today to give lots of details and all haha.
oh yea! this sunday is outreach Sunday! haha well that's why i have this passage here because i came across it again and it really means something to me. yup =). hope it means something to you too.
okay then i think i better hit the books =). see ya.
James 5:13-20
13Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
17Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

for those people who haven't seen the video
The Prayer, please! click on the link to go watch it because the song is just awesome. mmm there are 3 versions that i've seen, the one with celine dion and andrea bocilli, celine dion and josh groban and josh groban and angie stone. all good.
and yes and here's the lyrics:
The PrayerI pray you’ll be our eyesAnd watch us where we goAnd help us to be wiseIn times when we don’t knowLet this be our prayerAs we go our wayLead us to a placeGuide us with your graceTo a place where we’ll be safeLa luce che to daiI pray we’ll find your lightNel cuore resteroAnd hold it in our heartsA ricordarchi cheWhen stars go out each nightL’eterna stella seiNella mia preghieraLet this be our prayerQuanta fede c’eWhen shadows fill our dayLead us to a placeGuide us with your graceGive us faith so we’ll be safe.Sognamo un mondo senza piu violenzaUn mondo di giustizia e di speranzaOgnuno dia la mano al suo vicinoSimbolo di pace e di fraternitaLa forza che ci daiWe ask that life be kindE’il desiderio cheAnd watch us from aboveOgnuno trovi amoreWe hope each soul will findIntorno e dentro a seAnother soul to loveLet this be our prayerLet this be our prayerJust like every childJust like every childNeeds to find a place,Guide us with your graceGive us faith so we’ll be safeE la fede cheHai acceso in noiSento che ci salveraokay photos!:

hey hey haha okay mmm i obviously haven't been blogging for white a while mmm... let me summarize June.
Week 1 - school, school and more school. lectures, tutorials etc. oh yes and of course the
M1 Touch Rugby Series which was a...emotional roller coaster.
Week 2 -
BANANARAMA!!! 4 - 5 June. gosh that was amazing. =) love all the kids. they're just so cute and cute and cute hahaha. 2 of them were fighting oer me on the first day. there was this kid who kept poking me and grabbing me hands...gosh. it was a GIRL so don't get any ideas. Yeah.
sadly i couldn't be there on the second day because i had to go for
camp ASPIRE, SRJC leaders camp. it kinda sucked in the beginning but gosh was it AWESOME at the end haha. (BAIK!!! the leaders will get it.) we had to to walk from east coast to changi and other places before that on the first day. second day was the high elements stuff. scary but awesome haha, but all of us were like dead tired by the time we got to the zipline station. (wish i'd took a picture of team I2 sleeping at the bench haha!) on the third day, we were sent into the water! kayaking, rafting and the works. we had an ultimate challenge and my nike shoes gave up on me. the whole sole came off on the right shoe. oh YES! i kayaked ALL THE WAY from east coast back to the campsite
WITHOUT PUKING. big big achievement. seriously. =D. and then camp the campfire. hahaha our group won a best performance prize for a cheer we (ilham and i) came up with when we were blindfolded and a song all of us camp up with. on the last day all of us didn't want to break camp =( we really really enjoyed it haha. took a bunch of photos. and went back to sch tired. and guess what! i slept the whole day. =D
Week 3 (this week) - well on Monday i had
CIP at yuhua primary, teaching them how to play touch rug. gosh they are so cute. i really love to work with kids haha maybe because of bananarama...the experience helps haha =). then i came home. dozed off when i tired to study so i took a bus down to church to study and stayed there till around 8 from 3 plus pm. yesterday i had training and after i went down to church again. and today...church again.
study study study. mid years start on the 25th and i don't think i'm ready AT ALL. looking for a tuition teacher too...sigh. pray for me?
studying today was interesting haha. well i was studying half way and caleb comes into the study room at church with these big bags. and there this awesome and amazing video cam inside with an inbuilt mic and eerthing. its just so cool haha and he was like " you'll be my model for today." -_- so lame haha and i came up with something really REALLY lame.
ic : "do you know why Canon works?"
caleb: "why?"
ic: "because it can on."
get it? its just really lame. i came up with it when caleb told me the brand of the cam was Canon. mmm anyway, caleb taught me something.
caleb : "assumptions are the lowest form of knowledge. but this is not true because Einstein had to assume and he is smarter than us. therefore, this statement is false."
amazing. hahaha.
and since caleb was in DESPERATE need to eat, we went to Carl's Jr. to eat dinner.
and i bought a piano songs cd at sembawang because is sounded so good at the store!
the song
The Prayer is just amazing. click on the "The Prayer", it links to the video and just be blown away.
met Joce on the way back to church haha she ran up mount faber today!
mmm that's about it for today i guess.
till the next time i post!
