I used to wake up and think of her
I used to wait anxiously for her message
I used to crane my neck to catch a glimpse of her approaching
I used to lie in bed thinking of her
I used to dress with every intention of impressing her
I used to speak with every hope of charming her
I used to act with every desire to catch her attention
I used to hope for any chance to be with her
I used to fight for any chance to speak to her
I used to sleep with her on my mind
I used to hurt when she didn't reply
I used to dream about her face
I used to smile
I used to laugh
I used to love

Now, I can only imagine
