define a precious moment.

"precious"
1 : of great value or high price <precious jewels>
2 : highly esteemed or cherished precious friend>

"moment"
1 a : a minute portion or point of time : INSTANT b : a comparatively brief period of time
2 a : present time moment she is working on a novel> b : a time of excellence or conspicuousness moments>
3 : importance in influence or effect moment>

A precious moment to me would one a time that I choose to remember because it is significant to me. Moments I want to remember. Moments that I will hold close to my heart. Precious because of the time spent. Precious because of the rare occasion.

I have a few precious moments that only I can remember. Even if I tell you of them they will not mean anything to you because you weren't there.

What is quite sad because what you think is a precious moment might not be a precious moment to another person, even if the person was there with you. I might be significant, yes, but maybe only to you.
